Sigg Traveller. Alcohol / Methylated spirit stove
The Sigg traveller is a storm cooker. As a general rule storm cookers are brilliant, reliable stoves. Using them is simple, they work very well in the wind and they are an all in one system, including pots, pans etc.
The Sigg traveller is a reasonably rare stove. I believe it did cost more than the comparable Trangia stoves which were sold at the same time. This really is a collectors stove, rather than an everyday user. The stainless steel pots are poor conductors of heat, making the stove slow... very slow.
Of course camp cooing is not a race, it is a pleasure.
A better stove in this line would be the Sigg inoxal which has a layer of aluminium on the out side of the pots for better heat conduction.
